Sushi and Sashimi is to be avoided at all costs. The mixed Sushi you expect some nigiri, not even a single piece of salmon or tuna nigiri was part of the mix. Only makis in the sushi mix. You expect Sashimi variation to be a...nice set of raw fish! Well, some salmon and tune was in the mixed, but as well full cooked prawns and also some makis. Besides this the service is also nothing particular interesting. I asked for a Sushi Variation (expecting the nigiri), a Sashimi variation (like to avoid excessive rice in the meal) and a california roll to get some maki in the overall mix. The waiter did not even bother to tell me that in the sashimi variation there was already a california roll. So e...
My mum lives in Munich and on my visits here, we have always tended to go to more traditional Bavarian restaurants. This is one of her favourite haunts, and I can see why. Lovely surroundings, great service but importantly delicious, fresh and tasty food. Coming...from Australia I am used to eating lots of Vietnamese and Thai food, and wasn't sure that the food here would be authentic however this was a great meal. We had red curry duck with rice and vegetables which was delicious. Vietnamese rice paper rolls will be the next thing I try. Definitely recommend a visit.
Friends who live in Munich took us here and pre-ordered Peking Duck for us to share. It was wonderfully prepared and the multi-course meal stretched the evening tastily. We would never have found the place without our friends and it seems well off the tourist...path. But as my friend said, when you've had enough Schnitzel and Schweineshaxe and the like, this makes for a superb diversion. This isn't your run of the mill sweet and sour pork place but authentic Asian cuisine.
If you like authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, freidnly staff in a pleasant environment yo should go to Zoe's for a dinner. Although it is few kilometers away from Munich downtown, the short trip is worth it.
