Unpretentious authentic Greek legend and local favorite Zorba’s has been serving deliciously flavored Greek favorites to DuPont residents since before the many incarnations of Washington DC. I found this place while looking up restaurants with good reviews. I dined in and sat upstairs by the window, absolutely loved the setting and views. The food was excellent as well, I had the special of the day (which I don’t remember the name of). Fantastic meal. The staff was also very kind to me, but I can definitely see how heavy traffic can put a strain on the employees. Overall, highly recommend. I will be going back before my trip ends.
I went to DC with a friend. We had met 9 weeks earlier as we spent the summer working at a summer camp. This was the first meal we had together outwith camp and it was amazing- So good we went 3 nights in a row.The staff were also so helpful and the food was some of the best Greek we've had. The hummus and pita is a must!!! This place now means alot to us both and I know we'll always remember the meals we had here.
I have mixed feelings on this one, partly because I’m Greek. I loved the atmosphere when I walked inside. It’s beautifully decorated with lots of pictures on the walls and authentic Greek music. However I was disappointed with the food. The “keftedes” dish was not great, the spanakopita and tiropita were just ok.

This used to be my go-to greek spot being a picky New Yorker that was spoiled by the options in Queens. Unfortunately the portion sizes have become incredibly stingy for their platters. Now twice I a row where my delivery looked downright insulting, especially at the not so cheap pricepoint.
This restaurant in DC has been the best Greek spot for me for the past 20 years. It surpasses fancier restaurants with its great location, delicious food, and always fresh ingredients. It brings back many memories and truly makes you feel like you're in Athens. Definitely worth the price.
Charming spot in DuPont. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The combination platter was good and a nice sampling of meat and dolma with a salad. They serve the beer in chilled glasses which was a nice touch. Really nice outside seating.
Delicious Greek food at fair prices. Pleasant interior, great location. Enjoyed a combination plate and taste of a light Moussaka for lunch. Seating upstairs is charming

I visited this restaurant for lunch and I highly recommend trying the Avgolemono soup.
