I wanted to experience a local bakery on the East Side and this restaurant was recommended as one of the top choices. The server was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We tried the Bavarian Pretzel, brownie, and chocolate chip cookie. Everything was delicious, but the Bavarian pretzel was the standout. I would return just for that alone. However, this is definitely a grab-and-go establishment as there are no tables, chairs, or bathrooms. The interior was a bit chilly, so the pastries were slightly colder than I would have preferred.

Well, we had to make a trip to Cleveland and saw the bakery sign per accident. Because I'm Swiss by myself, everything swiss makes my head turn (or my wifes in this matter). We stopped and learned to my pleasure that the owner is Swiss himself. We had a nice little chat in our language. Of course we bought some baked goods and bread and enjoyed every bite. We will stop by again on our next trip to Cleveland.

I am always amazed by the quality of the breads at this restaurant. They truly embody the essence of 'culinary arts'. My favorites are the multigrain bread, chocolate chip cookies, and carrot cake muffins. My only disappointment is that they are not open later and closed on Mondays.

Rated 3.5 stars. Not much to write home about the savory options here. The croissant was bland (more like a dinner roll than a traditional croissant) and the olive and tumbled tea was not very impressive. Book a table now

This restaurant is the best in town. As the name suggests, it originates from Switzerland, where baking is a trade union protected profession that requires a five-year training program.

Best Palmiers! Crunchy and just the right sweetness, $2.25 each and they are large! Zoss is closing on March 30, 2019 forever so make sure you check them out before that!

Zoss is amazing! Despite driving past it daily for the past two years, I had never tried it until recently, and I must say I was disappointed to have waited so long.
