I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to warn others about this restaurant. My wife and I went there last night with a Groupon deal that included one bottle of wine, two soups or salads, two entrees, and one dessert. The waiter asked us about our wine preferences and brought out a carafe instead of a bottle, claiming they had changed the policy but hadn't updated the Groupon yet. The soup was mediocre, and our entrees took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy. The Wild Salmon was dry and overcooked, and the Flat Iron Steak was tasteless and tough. The waiter also informed us that they had stopped serving the green peppercorn sauce that he had re...

this place gets better and better every time I am there! The servers are very nice and attentive, the kitchen staff has not disappointed and is getting better and better each visit with preparing a variety of specials and expanding the menu. Today I had a the special prosciutto grilled cheese sandwich and tried a blueberry cream Italian soda for lunch. I have also had their pesto fettuccini with chicken, mushroom risotto with grilled shrimp, bruschetta, garlic knots, chicken marsala, the chicken piccata with linguini, the fried zucchini, onion rings and mozzarella sticks during Happy Hour. I have also had their calamari, baratta and many or their wines! The butternut squash ravioli remains m...

We had a groupon for lunch for four people. We only showed up with three people on a Sunday afternoon before brunch ended at 3pm. To my surprise the place was not busy at all, which was good for us. Tiny Sierra Madre doesn't get the drive thru traffic as other cities in the area. Eric our waiter was courteous and helpful in our selection. Eric allowed us to order for four people which we did. When we received our food it looked ordinary and I wasn't too impressed but it was very delicious. The four different dishes that we ordered didn't disappoint. If you are looking for a tranquil atmosphere and don't want to wait for a table on a Sunday morning Sierra Madre is the place to be.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, and they are open on Mondays with sidewalk seating available. The staff is pleasant, and they have a good selection of wines. I really enjoyed the Butternut Squash Ravioli. However, there is a new chef and menu coming soon. I had a quick chat with the chef and it sounds very promising. I can't wait to try the new French cuisine. Look out for changes by the end of June, but definitely take advantage of the current menu before it shifts away from Italian dishes. Book a table now

Stopped in for lunch and a beer... This place is meh. Seating is not good for happy hours, beer selection adequate. Food is good had the veggie lasagna huge portion but it came out pretty fast so Def was a reheatable. Service well she tried but definitely could use more training. Hope she appreciates the $10 tip I left on a $40 check/bill. I always try to support local businesses but sadly I won't be back.

This cozy restaurant is a peaceful spot where you can bring your dog to sit outside. They offer a good selection of reasonably healthy options for happy hour, as well as a diverse wine selection. It seems like they are constantly improving. As of June 2, 2017, they have a new partner and have changed their menu to French cuisine from Italian. The prices are fair and the overall experience is enjoyable.

Beautifully decorated , mildly quiet place. I love the atmosphere here. We tried their Palazzo Della torre wine and it was exquisite! The food was phenomenally delicious. Our server Chris was extremely helpful with our vegetarian options. I had a splendid time here, would come here again!

The Bolognese at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and one of my favorite dishes in Sierra Madre. The entrees come with warm, fresh bread and a side of oil and vinegar for dipping. Book a table now
