This is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sun set on the other side of Bodensee. There is only a pedestrian path between the wine bar and the lake, with a row of beautiful trees - bare in the autumn. There are small high tables with stools, and you can choose from the local wines. We like to drink the Spatburgunder Weissherbst - which is the most beautiful orange-pink colour. And, as one sips the wine, the sun starts to dip over the horizon on the far side of the lake. Ferries glide to and from Konstanz, and couples, families and dog walkers pass by. Idyllic.
The perfect place for a baggage overlooking the lake. Very relaxed atmosphere, even before Corona. Good selection of wine and beer. Delicious snacks. Try the flame cake.
Good wines with friendly service behind the counter, as here is self service. For a wine break always good and you have a view over the lake.
