Zum Goldenen Engel

If local food and hessisch experience is something you are willing to find out here is one of the best places. We did some exercise in the Kletterwald and then decided to go down town (well if you will to provide this favour to...Eschwege). A very hidden perl is zum goldenen Engel and we managed to get a seat outside. I had the Hendel and my wife prefered the Schmad-Schnitzel. Awsome I mean food and service. Even as it was crowded, Besim somehow found time to chat to each and every guest... Very nice

A very hidden pearl is a golden angel and we managed to get a place outside. I had Hendel and my wife preferred the Schmad Schnitzel. I mean food and service. We came here with the family and had so much service from all employees. You have a fantastic beer garden and a good selection of drinks. I ordered the carving and it was so good. Get this when you visit. The place is full...Local, too, which I always have a good sign. Great value for money to compliments to Chef Menda!

Consistent the best food in the area. Have a family together when we come home to visit. The owners are excellent hosts, chefs and very personal. Don't disappoint!

What a wonderful place to eat and drink. Fantastic staff and a very friendly atmosphere. A must to visit when in Eschwege. See you next year. Rikki Oak, Oxford UK
