My brother lived in Berghausen, which is why my family came from the Öfteren. From the outside the restaurant makes a great impression: yellow lacquered; green roller shutters; very historical. This is also noticeable in the cozy room. There is mainly the natural kitchen (Bratkartoffel, Spätzle, Rumpsteak, Kotelette) at slightly elevated prices. But salads, fish and vegetables are also represented on the menu. The food has always tasted very well here, the service is friendly, everything clean. I was always happy with the portions.

Large and varied lunch menu German traditional cooking in its best large portions large roast potatoes choice of 3 vegetable dishes. For 4 people main course and coffee pays over 70 euros so good value! Service “from Verona” excellent!!! It has a large parking lot on the back and there is a parking lot over the street. Outdoor seating also have a cozy and historical ambience (napoleon was here) Will be very quickly used by local traders (always a good sign)

It was a beautiful summer night, most restaurants were closed (not know why) and we found this very old beer hall. To be honest, we were a little sick of German food (NOT MORE WURSTS), but with nothing else open we went into. Sure. German with a touch of Swiss and French. I had a steak au pot that was great. The owner went out of her way to explain the German menu (no English), although English was hard for her and our German basically does not exist.
