A very beautiful location, inside and outside. Beautifully bright and yet show in the Fachwerk-Charme. Very cozy and a good balancing between old and new. Since we had reserved one of the last tables, we sat a quiet but beautiful “Séparée”. Very friendly and attentive staff without being urgent. The food (Hirschbraten and 2 different. Schnitzel incl. salad) were absolutely top and super delicious. There are also regional beers directly from Gelnhausen (with wine I know less). In addition to the restaurant there is also an associated hotel, which we cannot evaluate, however, as we come from the area. All in all a clear recommendation for German (hessian) cuisine!
Regional, hessian cuisine, very many dishes also vegetarian or vegan. Every meal was very nicely dressed and garnished and all at the table were very satisfied, because all served dishes were really delicious. High quality food, partly even organic. The prices are accordingly somewhat higher, but appropriate. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
Nice ambience. Nice people. Ideal for vegans. But keep it expensive. The food for “Normalos” is available. Portion size okay, meat is sometimes dry, so “overcooked”..... and 30% overpriced. Pork roast or schnitzel With supplement 20 Euro. That's Heavy. Selection is unfortunately low.
The services are super friendly. Any requests for amendments shall be made at any time. The portions are really big but also very delicious! At any time, like again! The menu offers so many great dishes, a visit is definitely not enough!
