Very well maintained modernized hotel. Despite the old building, the rooms are well isolated. My booked room was quite small in the entrance area. The rest, say bathroom and bed area, give enough room. The windows do not seem to have a tilting function, either on or off. The existing furniture made a modern impression and seemed completely new. In the bathroom I unfortunately had a collection of ladybugs on the window. Not nice, but rare. Unfortunately, when I arrived there was a difficult but strict smell throughout the hotel. Great, feel-good atmosphere! 1 star trigger, because the bath has drowned to the best of the sewage treatment plant. After several liters of water flushing to fill the syphones, the room air was fine again. The breakfast buffet was rich. Unfortunately, the eggs were much too small and hard-boiled, so they almost didn't let themselves spoon out of the bowl. The jam and sausage glass station had unused spoons missing to remove the contents. Otherwise everything was okay. We definitely come back!

A nice hotel in a beautiful town: friendly, clean, good food. Perfect for business trips in Eschwege and surroundings.
