catastrophic service. Reserved table was not reserved on arrival. After 25 minutes we asked for our ordered drinks, answer waitress, I forgot, laugh is already the second table today. Drinks were incomplete. Food can only be ordered by 8 p.m., since you have to clean the kitchen, luckily it was 19:45 p.m. Food came very quickly (without cutlery, it was necessary to draw attention that this is missing) a black burned something that should be a scavenger, salad and flame cake. Amazing place. We actually stumbled across this restaurant while looking for the neighboring castle ruin a few weeks ago but it was unfortunately closed at the time. We finally made it back for dinner while coming home from Saarschliefe on a warm June Friday evening. The restaurant has amazing outdoor seating with unparalleled views, and we were able to also see the inside of the adjacent church. The food was AMAZING (we got two schnitzel specials, nuggets and fries, onion soup, wine, and schorle) and the staff was helpful, friendly, and great at speaking English. Nice beer garden with a view of the valley. Veltins beer. Flammkuchen, salad and traditional German food. Nice stop on the middle of a 10 km hike.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Flammkuchen, salad, fries and noodles with mushroom sauce Parking: Parking is down hill from the church
