Used to come here years ago when it was a restaurant noted for simple German food. The old building has been knocked down and replaced by a modern, garish Italian restaurant to cram as many covers as possible into the building, as it is a...popular spot for bikers and ferry users to cross from Langel to Hitdorf. Firstly, the Koelsch and all drink prices are outlandish, matching or exceeding the prices of the numerous breweries and restaurants in the Aldstadt a total ripoff!. However, you are are a captive customer so they can charge what they want. The food is nothing more than average, we ordered a mixture of pizza and pasta, none of which was particularly noteworthy. First of all...the pizza I ordered was good, period. The location near a Rhine ferry could be nice if they would have managed to offer more outdoor seating...even on a Thursday with average weather it was crowded and impossible to get a table with a...group of the restaurant refused to take reservations upfront. They say this is an Italian restaurant...but it never feels like that...the interior is exchangeable...modern, cold, boring
This is a beautiful Italian restaurant located on the bank of the River Rhine. This was my second visit and I was impressed again by the quality of the service and the food. The most popular choice is pizza but I enjoyed a rump steak...in a mushroom sauce. In the summer it is lovely to sit on the terrace and take in the views. I wIll come back again in the future
The restaurant is at the ferry landing stage in Fuelingen and can add to a good, family day out in a rural area. Good size restaurant inside and outside seating and large car park, plenty of choice on the menu with efficient and...friendly service. Good location also for snacks, very large pizzas and range of ice cream desserts. Good value for money
