We ended up here because the restaurant recommended by a shop owner was fully booked.... How lucky. What A pleasant place to be. Cosy, friendly staff, good wine recommendation and a small menu, loaded with different tastes. Do not go here if you like standard...German food selections. Are you open for something different? This charming, small old world restaurant in a side street metres away from the railway station offers a dining experience second to none we had the taster menu, small plates with a variety of fabulous, tasty morsels created lovingly to demonstrate that less can...be more and flavour and freshness is king we had a superb culinary experience here at Zur Fischerin and really appreciated the very friendly and attentive service and advice from the charming owner however, make sure you book in advance while we were there, the restaurant had to turn away at least people who just turned up trying to get a table highly recommended !

This is a family run restaurant handed down from father to son. The service was attentive and the food really tasty. This is not strictly a fish restaurant although the name could be mistaken to imply as such. We went for a shared arrangement between...the three of us with the red fish, beef and vegetable dishes. There is a good wine selection to compliment the food. Well worth a visit if on Lindau Insel

A cosy family run restaurant, with great service and excellent food. Simple yet original recipes with an unexpected twist, made us want to taste everything. And buy the cookbook at the end. Thank you so much for this great dining experience!
