a restaurant that eats with 'typical berliner' advertises whatever that can mean. in any case they get rustic German home cooking, and that in a reasonable amount of portioning and almost moderate travel, which is worth mentioning in the location in a tourist hotspot. corona hygiene measures were well implemented and consistently applied. the operation was fast and friendly praiseworthy. for some who could be hotter, for us they had good odor temperature. the architecture is fake, but still fascinated cozy character.
This place was lovely, food was just okay. The meatballs were over-cooked, salad size portions not as large as encountered in other places we subsequently visited.But beer was great, setting was great. Price as expected. Service was quite good compared to other restaurants we visited, much quicker than others. They were also willing to serve us different side dishes than what normally came with the dish which was appreciated.
Good service food arrived quickly. Food was really tasty and a good way to eat some traditional German food. We turned up without a reservation on a Friday night and managed to get a table for 2 easily. Would eat here again.
we googled the best German restaurant in Alexanderplatz' and were definitely not disappointed, absolutely gorgeous food, so tasty. My grandson had the Berlin platter I think) I had braised veal cheeks, so stuffed afterwards.

This place is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, we loved the garden, the food was also very good, and not expensive, one of the best places to eat.
After a recent visit here we can't only say, wow, the food is amazing, the beer is amazing, the service is great, would thoroughly recommend it to anyone????????
