I made reservations 2 weeks before we arrived because I wanted to be seated in the cellar. I loved the atmosphere, it was cool and dark and felt like u really were under the ground in another time. The waitress was so helpful and tried her best to explain the menu to us. The food was really large portions and really cheap for a family of 5, I think with 4 soups and to large dinners with side and wine and alcohol was around 85.00. I would say if you go ask to be seated downstairs and remember you are in Europe and so the food is meant to be spaced out with plenty of time to enjoy the full experience.

Was in the restaurant with my wife on Sunday 4.12.11. I ordered food, of course. I got my drink after 35 minutes and the food after 60 minutes. Owner and service were rude and unfriendly. The food was bad. The cook must have exercised another profession until recently. I won't enter this place in my life anymore. The pricing was also lavish. 0.5 liter of wheat beer cost € 3.60. I don't pay for this in a 4 star hotel. This place is absolutely not recommended.

The service was good even if our waiter spoke limited English. He was really friendly and he did try his best to help us with our order. The food however was not so good. I ordered their goulash and the meat was really rough and was uneatable. My kid ordered the sausage and mash and it was alright she said. I think it was horse meat, as they had that on their menu. The rest of my party didn't like their meal either.

Great food. Service was excellent and English is exceptional. Try the breaded pork chop with roasted potatoes or the smoked ham with sauerkraut. Homemade apple strudel is a great way to top off the meal. Good food at a reasonable prices. Try to get a table in the historic cellar. Book a table now

This place is busy so I recommend you book ahead. The decor is a o pretty and oozes with character. Very attentive and helpful staff. We had the venison stew and cordon blue both were outstanding!

Note to the restaurant's homepage: You will find us facing us in Glockengasse 7 (formerly KRIM) An end of the reconstruction does not seem to be predictable. See: [here link]

Nice food, cozy atmosphere. It's just a pity that the waitresses don't care to help you find a table at all. You're left on your own and they don't show... Book a table now
