An fantastic local bar which is typically filled by the locals. Frau Schneider is a warm and welcoming host with the coldest beer I have ever had in Europe. Although I an American and live in Boston, my Grandparents lived in this town and Frau Schneider has made me feel like a villager each and every time I come to town. It is a must go to place if you are visiting Wangen.
Very clean, rustic location directly near the lake. It was often a guest here in the evening and can especially recommend the wines of the region (e.g. a Müller-Thurgau Elisabethenberg). When I wanted to return there again today, the place was unfortunately closed because of illness. You can only hope that this condition will change soon.
