We have eaten at the lower saw several times and it has always been very good. But today we were very disappointed with the service... The garden was occupied by 5 tables and we arrived at around 8pm. We had to wait 10 minutes to get our tickets and order something to drink. After that, the table wasn't cleared after it had been left empty several times, until we put our plates together ourselves and provocatively placed them on the edge. But the biggest highlight was when we were enjoying the dessert... The bill was placed on the table 30 minutes before the restaurant closed, and we weren't even allowed to order a coffee.. Wir waren zu viert im Gartenrestaurant und bestellten alle das Tagesmenü mit Fleisch. Es gab einen feinen Salat, das reichhaltige Menü mit 2 Stücken Jägerbraten , Kartoffelstock und Gemüse, sowie ein kleines Dessert. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft gewürzt, also nicht so fad, wie man es heute in vielen Restaurants antrifft. Die Portion des Menüs reicht auch für den sehr grossen Hunger aus. Der Preis für das 3-Gang Menü ist mit Fr. 20.50 sensationell. Man fragt sich, wie da der Wirt noch Gewinn machen kann. Der Service war sehr freundlich und alles kam sehr schnell und der Hauptgang auch heiss auf den Tisch. Wir werden das Restaurant Zur unteren Säge gerne wieder einmal besuchen.
Friendly run restaurant with a great and very beautiful garden terrace. Large menu with meat, salad, pizza and pasta. Dessert menu also well sorted. A great restaurant with good value for money.
