"I get the hype. Wasn’t going to get the sausage, but since it was recommended to us by an employee we decided to get some and it was by far my favorite! Brisket was very tasty, pork ribs were great. Pulled pork wasn’t my favorite but still well cooked. Dessert brownie was fantastic. Definitely coming back!Food: 5/5"

5/5!I will say it now, the best BBQ in VA! Since Richmond is quite a drive for me, I can only dream about this BBQ spot when I'm in the mood for some good BBQ.The Food: Since this being my second time here, I had to get the brisket AGAIN and some of their jalapeno smoked sausage. The first time I came here, I went overboard with the portions, so I stuck with a small amount. As for my sides, I went with the Mac n Cheese and a meat pie of sorts with Fritos on it. The brisket was incredibly tender and juicy. The sausage had a nice snap to the bite as well. All the flavors of the meats were incredible, leaving every bite wanting more! The sides were delicious as well, but the main entrees was th...

The reviews for this place are not overstating it. This place lives up to the hype. The pulled pork sandwich I had was delicious, huge and filling. Had a small Mac n cheese which had a surprising kick to it. The peach cobbler was...ok. Overall the meal was top notch and came in and $25.It was boisterous and loud inside so as a first time customer it was a little difficult to hear what the worker wearing a mask was asking but it's a simple enough menu to navigate and order from.Overall, super satisfied. It was a pleasant day so I ate in the quieter outside patio shaded by a pair of leafy trees.A one mile detour off of I-95 makes this place convenient and easy to get too. Highly recommend.

ZZQ Texas Craft Barbeque lived up to its high reviews and recommendations in June of 2023 during our visit for lunch. We got there about 12:15 and there was a short waiting line from the door into the order counter. We waited only 10 minutes in line, but will say that during that time certain items did sell out. Excellent meat! They know how to do it right. We sat outside on clean picnic tables as the interior seating area was full, and air conditioned. Staff was very pleasant. Would recommend.

Quick review: overall really good (4.2), half the brisket was dry (3.8) (half was from a different batch than the other), Mashed potatoes had more of a grits consistency (3.5), and the bathrooms were pretty messy. I know it’s not the food, but I can’t go to clean up and it looks like no one checked in 1-2 hours especially given the crowd size and time.Total was somewhere in the $90s which was fine.
