The restaurant added 15 mins to the time then was an extra 10 mins late, a bit disappointing but all can be forgiven with a good meal. In good points, it was still hot when it got here, the mince pie went down well, the chips are nice big chunky flat things which I like. Downsides, the sausage batter was particularly chewy and I wasn't as keen on the sausage although I'm normally not overly fussy. I've ordered from here again with better results so I wouldn't hold a chippy-grudge.
Jalapeno poppers were brilliant. nachos so much better than at the movies. I could tell the nacho cheese sauce was freshly made.. Nacho cheese sauce over the chips was the best chips and cheese I have ever had, something different and fresh. Fish was outstanding. Spicy chx bites were amazing. The chips are out of this world. Has to be the best chippy in all of scotland and I have tried most of them. keep up the prideful work colorado team!! Love the new look in the shop.
Ordered the Sunday Roast Taster for the first time and it was really tasty. I ordered it with the steak pie and everything was cooked to perfection. The hot dog was one of the best I've tasted. I ordered this plain online but when I collected my order I noticed in the chip shop that they have lots of toppings so I added nacho cheese and caramelised onions (toppings weren't shown on just eat). My kids loved them. Will definitely be ordering again. 10/10
Will be ordering again! Kids loved the chicken nuggets and the sauces BBQ especially (so many great sauces to choose from. Nacho cheese sauce over chips was a hit too! Fish supper was really tasty.
