I had an absolutely amazing experience at 1157 during my visit to Baltimore. I had a free evening and was on the lookout for a spot with excellent cocktails and delicious food. After doing some research, I discovered this place and drove over half an hour to get there. Unfortunately, after searching for parking for 15 minutes, I learned that the kitchen had closed just 10 minutes before I arrived! I was understandably upset and a bit hangry. I explained my situation to the bartender, who sympathized with me. She connected me with the chef, who kindly offered me the chance to order the Korean wings and curry Brussels, both of which I had planned to try. I happily accepted, and I couldn’t have...
I keep going back for the crispy octopus. The brother in law gets the Korean wings every time. Brother gets the ratatouille sandwich. And the cocktails ... worth every cent. Best bourbon and rye selection around. Great staff. You can't lose!
Sabrina and her crew are awesome. I can't believe have smoothly they handle the crowd I saw come in on a Friday night. The food is good, drinks fantabulous and the staff phenomenal. I definitely will be coming back.
Amazing place! We enjoyed an amazing array of food from the white bean hummus to the insanely delicious ceviche to the mussels to the burger. Everything was perfectly prepared and we will definitely be back.

This is the best meal I have had since living in South Baltimore. Intimate atmosphere with incredible drinks to compliment the very creative and well-executed menu. I will be back frequently.
The food, beer, and wine here are outstanding. I absolutely enjoy the braised rib sandwich and the kimchi sausage sandwich. I always make sure to order the cheese board as well!

Small venue, but no wait. Good drinks and great food. Reasonably priced. I don't know if you can make a reservation or not but I would recommend it.
