Booked a table for 17 people - restaurant said it was fine and that they will provide me two tables as they cant fit 17 people on one table. Reconfirmed the number of people on the day of the booking. When we went to the restaurant, i told them the booking details and was simply ignored by the staff. No one notified me that I had to wait for the table to be cleared (as there were people finishing up their food). Afterwards, they tried to put 17 chairs to one table (which completely did not fit). I advised them that I was told I would be provided 2 tables. They accused me of changing my reservation from 11 to 17 people when this was not true. And that the number of bookings were impossible....
You have to arrive here early to secure a table but that's no guarantee of value for money - nice decor, quite clean but food was so-so and quite expensive - for these prices one would expect better, service very ordinary, dirty plates not removed after each course, had to ask continuously for the tea and water glasses to be refilled and of course a surcharge for using a credit card; we won't go back.
beautiful environment, friendly and attentive staff, and really taste like savoured eating. xiao long bao was particularly sour and tasty.
