Don't overlook 7 Acre Bargrill. The drinks are absolutely amazing. The house-made lavender lemonade is fantastic, and I like to add some Tito's vodka to kick it up a notch. Yesterday they had a watermelon martini that was out of this world. The food is also excellent. They have a diverse menu with everything tasting delicious. The buffalo cauliflower is a must-have for us every time we visit. I tried a burger for the first time yesterday and it was a game changer. The service is top-notch, with consistently great experiences with every server we've had. It's rare to find such consistently high-quality service. Second time we've been here and both times have been very good. Nice twist on some basic foods like cheeseburger by using pimento cheese and a blend of meats (brisket, chuck, and rib meat) all done well. Staff was super, with different people offering to clear plates and checking to make sure everything was good. The wait to eat indoors was 30 minutes, so we chose the outdoor option which was under an awning and there was a nice breeze, so it wasn't terrible. Also, while pricing seems a little steep, the food quality and quantities make it worth it. Downsides Outdoor dining is adjacent to a convenience store parking lot which was a little unpleasant.
One of the girls suggested this restaurant, having been there before. They do not take reservations so we arrived at 11:20 for lunch. This place fills up as soon as they open the doors at 11:30. And it's loud. There is nothing to absorb the sound, the background music was loud and the customers are trying to talk over everyone else. Service was good, food was good, Sangria and wines were good. Favorites were SBC burger and fish and chips. There were five of us seated at a round table for six. We went elsewhere for birthday cake and coffee so we could hear each other talk. It was so loud that I left with a mild headache.
It was a very busy Thursday night at the restaurant. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes before someone finally gave us a menu, and then another 10 minutes to order a drink. After we placed our dinner order, the salad never arrived. Both bartenders checked on it, and it finally came out 25 to 30 minutes later, but it was wrong - we had ordered it with dressing on the side. The rest of the food was just average. This was disappointing as it used to be one of our favorite places to go. Unfortunately, the service and food quality have declined and we probably won't be returning anytime soon. Book a table now
My wife and I recently moved into the Hickory Flat area and stopped off at 7 Acres for lunch. The food and service (shout out to Meredith) was outstanding. For an appetizer we had the pimento cheese served with wonton chips. The cheese is drizzled with a bacon jam that is to die for. We both had burgers and they were outstanding. Perfectly cooked with great flavor. We have found a local jewel. We will be back.

This was my second time dining at this restaurant. Just like the first time, I was not disappointed. The first time, I tried the garnel and the grisen, which were the best I've ever had. This time, I ordered the trout, which was super fresh and the plate combination was excellent. The sauce with capers was perfect. Our server was also wonderful, taking great care of us throughout the meal.
I loved the environment and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was there for lunch and eat strictly plant-based. I had three choices of appetizers but really only one choice for lunch and that was a roasted veggie salad which was awesome! For the appetizer I had the roasted brussel sprouts which had the best sauce on it! I look forward to eating there again. Book a table now
Came here for a high school graduation lunch! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and setting were impeccable. I will be back here again with family! Would recommend!
