Bit late writing this one up but definitely a restaurant I wanted to recommend.The husband and wife team that run this relatively small restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. There were about 4 or 5 dishes for each course displayed on a blackboard with both starters and mains including at least one imaginative vegetarian option (still a rarity on that side of the Channel!).The food was excellent. All fresh ingredients cooked to order. Reasonably priced too.Recommended for meat eaters and veggies alike but book up a few days before you want to go as it is very popular.

Des produits de provenance choisie, et à priori de préférence bios et locaux. La carte expliquée avec précision. Un service souriant et disponible. Une ambiance détendue et conviviale. Tout est réuni pour profiter de ce qu'on est venu chercher.Pour info : 140 euros pour 3 convives avec apéritifs, entrées, plats, desserts, 1verre de vin.
The restaurant which is family run and operates a very small menu (but a very large ardoise) is superb. Unfortunately my choice of Andouillette whilst sitting next to a vegetarian didn't go down well and I was banished by my fellow diners. That said the Andouillette was superb and worth the temporary exile. All in all a tremendous evening
Excellent accueil, la patronne est fiere de sa carte et elle bien raison, tout est détaillé, expliqué, la carte est restreinte bien sur, ici pas de congelé ou de produit tout préparé, tout est de saison et travaillé sur place, un peu cher mais la cuisine, sinon le cadre, est au niveau gastro.... alors cela est acceptable.

The menu is eclectic and ever-changing, but the quality of the food always remains excellent. I visit at least once every single time I go to Samoens, which I do about twice a year. The lady who runs front of house is very kind, with excellent English, and patiently takes us through the menu. It is simply wonderful.
Wow a Chinese soul food buffet,everything from smothered chicken to lo mein.all I can say for the price this is the hidden gem.if you're adventurous it's a must
