As always, whenever I’m near the Bay Area, I always find a spot where I can noodles. Found this little gem on a whim. I got a wonton noodle soup, but I asked my server for suggesting what kind of noodles and he suggested the egg noodles.Server brought me my hot tea and after a long and crazy morning, it actually soothed me. Ordered no other drink. My soup came and it was a full and hearty plate. It was actually quite good. Wontons were big and full of flavor. No need to add any spices for me—it was just right. I look forward to returning and getting something else.

Amazing. If you’re craving a hearty bowl of Hong Kong Cantonese style noodle soup, this is the best spot I’ve been to on the peninsula.Beef stew is melt-in-mouth tender, soup flavor is a bit salty but is 100% authentically delicious, and service was quick just like in Hong Kong.I was born in HK and lived there for 10+ years. This bowl brings me back to my hometown and rivals some of the better noodles soups I’ve had out there.I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

If you like fatty developed broth, it might be better to go elsewhere. It’s lean and clean here. Cons: The cabbage in the beef noodle soup wasn’t too fresh. It was slow but I had to constantly get up from my table. Serving size of the noodles are appropriate for the price. The best part is their chili oil which tasted quality. I took some leftovers home and it heated well.

I tried the fish cutlet curry noodles at this restaurant and found that the flavors complemented each other very well. In addition, I also ordered the marinated tofu and potato cakes, which were delicious. I highly recommend these dishes. Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
