Decided to try this place. I had the Ricotta pancakes with butterscotch sauce and my Wife had the Potato Rosti. She said it was very nice. The only problem I had with my choice was that the plate came out with a pool of maple syrup. Perhaps the syrup could have been served in a jug on the side. The coffee was hands down the best I've had in a while. All in all a great place to hang out early Sunday Morning.
The food at La Tropicana appears simple, but the flavors have remarkable depth. All the staff members there greeted my companions and me with smiles as warm as the coffee they serve there. I would thoroughly recommend La Tropicana to anyone with a sweet tooth. I know I'll certainly be returning soon. It's great to have new young owner's there !! Good work guys ...
The woodfired pizzas we came try did not disappoint. The sauce was delicious and fresh and the base thin and crispy.We returned one night to sample their new dinner menu and tasted 6 of the dishes on offer amongst us and everyone loved what they had ordered.Service was friendly and atmosphere with live music on certain days and outdoor lighting was perfect.

Coffee was fine but not memorable <br/ , juices (ginger zinger and thirst quencher) were fine. Potato Rosti a little undercooked for me. The eggs and bacon was good. Pleasant Cafe full of bike riders on a sat morning. Pizza oven was warming up and could be good for lunch.
Deliciously smooth coffee, excellent service. This is a great place for groups with plenty of large tables and lots of room to move. The eggs/bacon/toast special at $10 is great value but most other dishes hover around the $18 mark.
Recently attended the WAMED festival and thankfully 99 Palletz was open. The service was FANTASTIC! The food was perfect and the coffee was wonderful. Thanks to the 99 Palletz for making our weekend awesome!
