I wish I could remember our servers name because SHE was the best thing about last night's gathering of friends at the 99. The food was very good but our server really was splendid. Made our evening even better than it already was. Some had the Haddock, 1 had the French onion soup and a salad. I had the short ribs, a first for me. I seldom eat beef more than once or trice a year. Usually get salmon. Those short ribs were fall apart tender and very tasty. Yum!
I ordered the Prime rib weekend special and I ordered it medium rare got the food home and opened it up and the Prime rib was well well done and hard and dry like a cardboard and I couldn’t eat it and I just threw it away, been here many times and how could the what to be called cooks serve Prime rib like this I ask for “medium rare “ I will never eat at 99 Restaurants again!!! Service bad. Food spent alot of time under heat lamps on counter. Finally recruited someone to bring it to us. Server was caught up talking to a couple at the bar.
