We took Mum here for her birthday for a high tea. The shop is really nice with something to look at where ever you turn. The food also was nice, no complaints there. It's just that we payed $96 for 3 people and I will attach a pic of what we got for it. No one came back to us the whole time to ask if everything was ok and we had to get up and ask for some more milk. The shop had 2 customers in there the whole time we were there so it definitely wasn't busy. They made a big deal out of paying before the day as if they were having to make especially for it. Our party of four had an exquisite Devonshire tea at Deja Vu to celebrate my mum's birthday. The Devonshire tea menu offered a variety of scones to choose from (including gluten free) and each serving consisted of two generous sized and delicious scones. Ours came accompanied by a plentiful serving of jam and cream and individual pots of tea or coffee. Along with the food and Deja Vu's charming decor, what really sets this establishment apart is the service which was faultless. Right from the first phone call to enquire about a reservation through to our morning tea and decorating a birthday cake as a surprise for my mum, the service was exemplary. Highly recommended.
What a gorgeous setting and beautiful food! We had a wonderful time dressing up and dining on dainties. The bread was so fresh, the pastries so thin and the tiny cakes delicious. Just the right amount of food to look divine on the tiered plates but not leave us groaning in discomfort. The french provincial setting of the tea rooms provided a lovely hour of finding treasures and shopping. Thank you for the attentive service!

I went here with a friend for high tea. Bookings were essential beforehand. High tea was delicious and there was a good selection of tea and coffee available. We paid $32 each which is normal for high tea in Mackay. I enjoyed looking at the shop too. I would recommend it to others.

we had a lovely High Tea .. 6 of us ages17-70.. there was something for everyone..scones an cakes were lovely and sandwiches were tasty...was enough food for everyone...we all would go there again :)
In this equisite shop full of beautiful items is a small cafe, with wonderful service and a large range of scones and tea to chose from. High tea is well worth trying. Lovely friendly staff.

Wonderful ambience, delicious food and a delightful array of teas... just be careful not to get too distracted by all the pretty trinkets! This is my ideal high tea experience. :-)
I took my mother and daughter here, we all just loved it We would go again we all really enjoyed ourselves. Don't hesitate just go and enjoy a coffee or Tea both very nice
