My husband and I really enjoyed our meal! The only reason I didn't give a perfect five stars is because of the macaroni and cheese. Not everyone can make baked mac and cheese, and that's understandable. Thankfully, the rest of my food was excellent! I ordered the small oxtail platter, and my husband went for the large jerk chicken platter—everything was delicious. The beef patty was really impressive as well. I’ve already ordered from them twice and can’t wait to go back!
I purchased the jerk chicken. It wasn't fully cooked. The meat was tough. The jerk sauce was a spicy gravy, not jerk sauce. The plantains seemed like the frozen microwavable ones. They were not freshly cooked and they told me they were cooking them as I waited. That was not their best work. They normally have better days. Prices increased ridiculously. The guy who took my order was very friendly. The staff is always nice.
I absolutely love the jerk here! I always order a platter that provides me with enough food for two meals. The callaloo is outstanding, and I make sure to get a side of it every time. I travel all the way from Jersey, which is about a 9-mile trip, because it's the best I've ever tasted.
The curry chicken wasn't high on the list as far as being good. It was after 7:30pm on a Thursday, so I'm glad they were open, but the food didn't taste fresh. The guy was nice, the food was good enough and the small platter had enough food for $10. Book a table now
They NEVER answer the phone. When they finally did, it felt really suspicious. How do they expect to make any money this way? It seems like there might be something else going on... it’s so unprofessional.
This was my second visit, and I absolutely loved it. I was very satisfied on both occasions. Each time, I received enough food to enjoy it three times, and there was plenty of meat!
I got the Curry Chicken, and other than those dumpling things and them not having any more plantains, I really enjoyed it ?. Plus, their prices are nice?!
This ain’t it !! Mac and cheese was from the day before . How you mess up rice and peas !! Book a table now
