We were delightfully surprised by the quality and quantity of food provided by Aashiana when we ordered a few takeaway items from their menu. Everything was reasonably priced The chicken and lamb briyani were both delicious. The meats were tender and came in such generous portions. The goat curry was spectacular. It was spicy and full of flavour. The meat was falling off the bone Service was pleasant. Definitely will return to try their other items.
first visit recommended as alternative to nearby restaurant chimes. all started well, menu, water and pappadum quickly delivered by friendly employees. discovered on a simple option, mower with kashmiri Pulao rice. Dishes came hot and were well presented....but completely tasteless! the mango leti was excellent. I will try aashiana again, but this first impression of her culinary skills was bad.
have they changed own or cook? we've been here a lot, but this time we took us and they've almost missed everything. I asked for mild tikka masala and what I got was very hot. the brote we ordered were unusable and very hard, dense and tasteless. I hate to say this (because we were fans and drove 20 minutes to take), but we will not be back!
$75 spent on cold food that should have been hot, given its just down the road from us. Barely any pappadams, tasteless rice and super spicy cold Curries. I will never order or go to this restaurant ever. What a rip off. Im so annoyed as it was meant to be a treat. Book a table now
order them to eat at 7 o'clock by menu log and never got my food and on menulog said it delivered at 8:30 o'clock and when I called at 9 o'clock menu log restaurant and they had not left it yet. very bad customer service by restaurant manager.
with distance the best Indian restaurant in melbourne! I go here all the time, and eating is always up to the same standards - fresh and tasty! the service is fast, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. love it!
It was good overall. Biryani was little bit salty. The quantity of rice should be more as compared to the chicken without reducing chicken. One of the best Biryanis. Will order again.
Aashiana is so gracious that they included an extra roti and bag of papaddams free of charge, and their chana masala was excellent as always Book a table now
