I've tried crab rangoons from all over the city, but nobody does them quite like Abacus. They’re on another level. While there are many fantastic dishes, my personal favorites are the steamed dumplings, which have a delightful homemade touch, and the cha chiang mein. Currently, they’re only offering takeout, but the staff remains incredibly friendly, just as always.
We have loved this place and their food for several years until today when we ordered 2 sweet sour chicken and got 2 general Taos chicken. We called and they told us we were wrong and that’s what we ordered. We know what we ordered. Terrible customer service and won’t be back. Lost a customer. After 4 years of searching we found our new favorite Chinese takeout restaurant. The General Tso chicken was perfect, the shrimp fried rice was perfect. My only recommendation would be a bit more crab in the crab cheese. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Book a table now
They definitely excel compared to other places! Plus, the prices are reasonable. The rangoons were fantastic, and the General's Chicken was excellent! My only suggestion would be to make the hot and sour soup a bit spicier.
