I went to Abhis last night and was extremely impressed by the food and service. We had a king prawn curry and a chicken curry. The king prawn curry had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess whilst the chicken curry was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The garlic naan and the biriyani rice were the perfect accompaniments to soften the spiciness of both curries whilst offering two different textural components . We finished the meal with a mango lassi which cleansed the pallet and left us completely satisfied. The meal cost less then $70 which is reasonable for the quality and portion size of the dishes. Was visiting from the Gold Coast and dined here for my birthday, with family and friends. We had the most beautiful, unique, flavorsome food I have ever had. We had the banquet and absolutely loved all the different courses, especially entree's. And our waiter for the night stood by and was at our beck and call. Will definitely be back when visiting Syd again. Thank you for an enjoyable birthday.
Delicious Food! <br/ <br/ The fried spinach dish is nicer than it sounds, can recommend this dish along with with papadums and the dips you can have with them.<br/ <br/ Service however is a bit lacking (I had to walk up to the kitchen) and too many seats cramped makes the experience more noisy. Perhaps in quieter times this place would be more of a pleasant experience.
We've been dining at Abhi's for years the fabulous tasty food (esp entrees) great service never disappoints! Enjoyed our meal on Sat night with 4 adults 3 kids (2.5, 3.5 5) the staff were wonderful to the kids wouldn't eat elsewhere for Indian.

Pretty good flavours and ingredients, nothing special. Chicken dish was a bit bland, eggplant one was better. Serves are small. Similar to my local Indian and Pakistani places but costs times as much.
Just come back from a holiday in northern India and the food at Abhi’s is just as good! It bought me back to being on holidays. Service and food is excellent.
Food was excellent. We had a banquet for 6. There was heaps of food and a wonderful variety. Service was excellent, very efficient and happy staff.
The curries were delicious ; beautiful flavours , the service was fantastic and prompt , I would definitely go back there .
