EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ON THE PHONE TO REFUND WITHIN ALMOST 3 MONTHS LOST $10,000 DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS BUYER BEWAREIndustry standard is a refund within 30 days of an event, however this company charges high cancellation fees within 3 months (90 days). We tried calling to cancel our agreement within the 3 months, however the company was closed for 2 weeks during passover. By the time Passover was over, we had reached the 3 month limit.We tried to be accommodating and only asked for a partial refund, however Above and Beyond was unwilling to work with us. Above and beyond is the perfect name for Jill’s company because every guest and every other vendor raved how the caterer went above and beyond. We needed a kosher caterer for my daughter’s wedding in the Catskills (not easy to find). I found Jill online and went solely on the reviews. A month before the wedding my daughter moved back to the states after living in Jerusalem and we met Jill at the venue in rural upstate New York. After meeting with her in person my daughter felt comforted right away. The day of the wedding everything was flawless. The food was amazing and abundant. The service was impeccable. Jill and her team were UNBELIEVABLE!!! She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and helped us with so many aspects of the planning process in addition to being the best caterer ever. We had soooo many guests approach us to tell us how good the food was. Jill catered our Shabbat before the wedding, and everything was delicious. All the food was so well balanced, healthy, and the paerve desserts were outstanding!! Would recommend Above Beyond to anyone. 10/10!!!
Jill and her team did the most incredible job for my daughter’s Simchat Bat. The food was absolutely incredible, the presentation was beautiful and the staff was very professional. Jill was a joy and easy to work with — very responsive and accommodating. Every single guest raved about it all. Multiple people even asked for her card for their own future events. I’ll never use another company besides Above and Beyond!
