Today I visited this Mexican restaurant for the first time. I had some free time and decided to try it out. I arrived between 11-12 and found that there were very few people dining. It took a while for the waitress to come to my table on the terrace. There were only two other tables with customers. Feeling hungry, I had to go inside to let them know I was ready to order. I ended up choosing the lunch menu, opting for the more expensive crispy chicken tacos with tears and buoys. The tacos were large and the shredded chicken was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed a strawberry margarita for only $1. When the bill arrived, it was $27. After paying with my debit card, they mistakenly charged me $32...
I tried this restaurant a few times. every time eating was great (minus the haare we found in our burrito for the first time), but the service is terrible. What?s even more annoying, we were forced to pay gratulation because we had 3 adult and 4 children in our party. it took forever to get chips when we sat, about 10 min. then we ordered drinks, another 10 minutes. Once our food came out, we were missing things. it took 10-15min to get missing items out. we had to ask for cutlery, serviettes, beverage refills etc. we were patient, but never once did the manager or the waitress come by and apologized. on that day I would not have left a typp. I therefore believe that they have added our bill...
It is rare that I leave a non-5-star Review, but this is my experience: It took 20-25 minutes to be greeted at our table...they were busy with only 2 servers in the bar (one was the bartender). It took 45 minutes to get our food (1 dish...enchilada). Pretty sure our chicken enchilada had some shredded pork in it, which would be fine if I weren't allergic to pork...and, one of the servers forgot to check on it, or just wasn't concerned (I think the latter). I love the decor it was Day of the Dead and beautiful chandeliers! Cozy bar and I really enjoyed the shrimp avocado cocktail for a light meal. I think they could improve on the margarita glasses to be the kind with the stems. If there is a choice I wasn't offered it. Margarita wasn't very sweet so I ask for some Triple Sec which was accommodated. Easy to hold a conversation music not too loud. Nice service

The bacon wrapped jalapeños are, honestly, the best things on the planet. The house margaritas are very tasty, but are a bit small for the price. Definitely better to go during happy hour, as their prices are definitely over inflated. True for everywhere right now, though. I recommend the chicken chimichanga, if you're lucky they'll remember the super awesome picked onions. It's hit or miss for me...
Everyone is so friendly and has amazing customer service. If you want the best Tortilla Soup, this is the place. I warn you, you will want the bowl. It huge but you want every bite. They do take out. The Tortilla Soup is sent kind of like Pho. Hot broth and then you put all the fixin's when you get home. My husband likes the other food but I honestly go for the Soup. It is like a warm hug in a bowl!
The food at this restaurant was excellent and the ambiance was fantastic. The prices were reasonable considering the positive aspects mentioned previously. Despite not being the absolute best place ever, it still deserves a high rating. Would it be fair to give it less than 5 stars?
I ordered the Californian burrito, while my wife chose the 3 cheese nachos. The portions were generous and the corn on the cob served as a side was delicious! The staff was laid-back and friendly, making it a great spot to grab a meal.
