Our table was in an awkward space in the middle of the aisle so we felt very cramped when people would walk by. When we ordered a second round of drinks, the server never removed our empty glasses from the first round. There were of us so a total of glasses for water) on the table at one time. I had a chicken burrito and, while the flavor was fine (nothing to write home about), it was lukewarm. I doubt I'll be back soon, even though I live in the neighborhood.
My stars for overall rating is because the food was good and the restaurant was relatively quiet. However, service is very very slow. We waited at least minutes before the waitress came over and asked what we wanted. When our tortilla chips basket was empty she asked if we wanted more we said yes, but they didn't arrive until our brunch was half consumed, minutes after we were asked if we wanted more tortilla chips. We sent them back, very bad service.
I have loved Agave for a long time and go there fairly regularly. This is the first time my two daughters joined me and they loved it, too. We all agree the food is delicious, there's a great selection, service was warm and efficient, and marguerite was perfect. I tried the chicken poblano this time and it was super yummy, though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone dieting. It's rich!
Came here on a date and had a great time. The staff was very friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious. We are taco people, and so ordered them, and were not disappointed. The setting is dim so its a nice intimate setting, and perfect if you're trying to class up a bit from your normal taco joint. Looking forward to coming here again and trying out some of their drinks. Book a table now
This is a regular go-to restaurant for pre-theater. The food is always good, well-prepared and nicely presented. Short but reasonable wine list, good draft beers and margaritas are tasty--and substantial! Service was very good, attentive without hovering.
Dined here on a recent trip to Seattle... and honestly almost went back the next day for lunch. The food was excellent and the service of top notch. We both really enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the duck street tacos.
The food was ok, the drinks were ok, but the service was awful. We felt so rushed and when we need more drinks or food, no one was to be found.
Great food in a nice setting, but can get noisy making conversation a bit of a challenge. Good service without hovering. Book a table now
