Possibly one of the most overrated restaurants in OC. Everything is fried and greasy, or you can get a salad, yay. Or how about a tiny piece of low grade meat cooked on a grill that looks like it would be more appropriate in a food truck. And don't even get me started on the people, like a hurley catalogue vomited onto the sidewalk. On a positive note, our server was wonderful, and the staff was consistently friendly. The music was enjoyable, featuring a mix of '80s and '90s hits, although the vibe felt distinctly like Echo Park. One downside was the bathroom, which was in the bar next door and in poor condition.
Overall, I don't think I'll be returning. If you decide to visit, I recommend mentioning your preference for less oil when you order; it would have made the dishes much more enjoyable if I had known ahead of time. It's worth noting that vegans have limited options before dinner service starts.
I experienced the worst food poisoning of my life after dining at this restaurant. I've visited several times before, but during my last visit, I ordered a burger, and it just didn’t sit right with me. I ended up vomiting for 24 hours. I strongly advise against eating here. I even contacted the restaurant to request a refund and inform them about the food poisoning, but I never received a response. Unfortunately, I now tell everyone to steer clear of this place.
I ordered takeout and received a chicken sandwich that was completely devoid of chicken, which I only realized after I got home. When I made the trip back to the restaurant, they simply offered me a piece of chicken to add to the now-soggy bun. It wasn't until I refused that they finally agreed to make me a new sandwich. No other compensation was offered, and I don’t even recall them apologizing—clearly, they were too busy to care.

We came here twice. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The little gem salad, broccolini, filet, and burgers were sooo delicious. Highly recommend the lemonade and Kumquat drink at Helen's!Vegetarian options: Broccolini, cauliflower, salads were superb!
Such a delicious experience! It was even better than I expected! Can’t wait to go back for the burger. Spicy **** Mary was very tasty. French Toast was bomb! American Breakfast was so yummy! Breakfast Sammie was wow! Simple food done right!
