Would like to start with the positives. The staff are lovely and the cocktails are great. Because of this I had high expectations for the food and I was so disappointed. The Caesar salad had broken up breadsticks in place of croutons, some lettuce, sauce, sprinkle of cheese and what looked like one frozen chicken breast sliced on the top. For the price of it I expected MUCH more. Also the chips aren’t homemade and weren’t cheap either. Would come again for drinks but not food. Just in response to the reply, thanks very much for taking it on board. I will take you up on that if I visit again.
We stopped by Al Dente for lunch while visiting family in Liverpool, and I’m so glad we did. They have a fabulous lunch menu for a great price, 2 courses for £12.95 or 3 courses for £16.95. We opted for the 2 courses and had halloumi fries and bruschetta as the appetizers and spaghetti carbonara and salt and pepper king prawns as the mains. The spaghetti carbonara and the salt and pepper king prawns were incredible! The restaurant is very beautiful, with many windows, pretty lighting and a beautiful patio with outdoors seating. I will definitely visit again!
Booked for the first time for my wife’s birthday lunch, staff very attentive and friendly, the little one was happy after he was given some pencils to colour in with. Food was really good, the little one commented it was the best pizza he has ever had so a ringing endorsement. Will definitely return.
Very nice little Italian restaurant with a great value lunch menu. I had bruchetta followed by linguine Bolognese. Service was quick and polite and the food was delicious, well presented and too much for me too eat.

Went here father's day June 24. Its on lark lane Sefton Park Liverpool. Very well located for other bars after your meal. Food lovely. Staff fab. We'll worth a visit.
Great service, lovely food and good portions. The bakalava dessert is to die for! Look forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
