It seems that this restaurant originally started as a breakfast spot, but my wife and I decided to visit for dinner, and we were blown away! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I can confidently say it had the best hummus I've ever had. We ordered it with meat, but I believe it would have been just as delightful on its own. For reference, I have used yelp for close to 10 years, and have never written a review until now. The food here was incredible, I'm not going to act like I know what I'm doing by using fancy buzz words. Hummus with Meat, incredible. Harhoura, incredible. Fattoush, incredible. Spicy potato, incredible. Fatayel, incredible. Sam, the server/manager was also incredibly friendly, helpful, and personable. He seemed as if he genuinely cared about the business, and wanted everyone to have a great experience. This place has ensured I will make a point to fly to/from DTW airport whenever I visit the Midwest. Only negative from this place is that it's on the other side of the country from where I live.
Stopped by here for brunch today for the first time, and we had to make sure to try a bunch of items. Samer was wonderful in giving his recommendations. We were very impressed with everything and look forward to going back to try more items! 1. The chai was made perfectly. 2. The sesame fried cheese was delicious. Would definitely order again. 3. The labneh and zaatar hit the spot. 4. The fatteh with tahini was super yummy. 5. The ful Al Tayeb was also very good. 6. The hummus was so delicious, that we ordered one to go. I intended to visit the Dearborn location, but mistakenly ended up at this one. I'm glad I did, as the seating is more intimate and less busy than the Dearborn location. The food was excellent, as expected. I highly recommend going with a group to try multiple dishes, as there is a wide variety to choose from. Even though there were only two of us, we ordered three items and they were all delicious. The eggs and sausage dish was particularly divine, with flavors reminiscent of eggs with basterma. I will definitely be returning to try more items in the future.
This restaurant is an amazing place to enjoy breakfast or lunch. The food is outstanding! You definitely have to try the Battatta Harra (Spicy Potatoes)—the flavors are out of this world. The falafel is fantastic, perfectly crunchy on the outside while being light and fluffy on the inside. If you’re in the mood for a salad, the fattoush and tabouleh are both excellent choices. My family especially loves the fatten with laban. This place is a favorite for my family and friends, and I always make sure to visit whenever I'm in Dearborn or Dearborn Heights.
This is undoubtedly the best spot for breakfast in the Dearborn and Dearborn Heights area. The atmosphere is fresh and clean, and the customer service is exceptional. The food is absolutely amazing. There’s so much more I could say about this charming little place—it truly feels like home-cooked meals. They take great care of their customers, and last but not least, they are incredibly generous.
This restaurant is a great place to try authentic ethnic cuisine. The food is always fresh and consistent, however, it can get quite busy so be prepared for a little wait.Overall, the experience is worth it.
