Weekend lunch for a table of 9, a mix of friends; regulars, locals and weekenders. All of whom were good customers to this establishment. The service was poor, but we were all patient having known two members of staff resigned just before the Easter holidays leaving the Patron in the lurch at a busy time, especially with the crowds that are pulled into this small village for Setmana Santa, Dansa del Mort etc. The lunchtime menu increases significantly in price at the weekend €25 rather than the €11.50 Menu del Dia on weekdays. ¡Qué descubrimiento! Hicimos noche, cena y desayunar en el Hostal Alberana. Comimos caracoles a la lata, cabrito a la brasa, sepia y calamares. Todo casero, hacía tiempo que no comía calamares tan buenos. El café también buenísimo. Las habitaciones amplias y limpias con camas cómodas y enormes. Las fotos no hacen justicia. Nos hemos sentido muy a gusto y volveremos a parar cuando pasamos por Verges. Gracias por cuidar de los gatitos
Ha sido una muy buena experiencia! Para destacar la limpieza de todo el hostal en general como la de las habitaciones. Tiene lo básico en las habitaciones, con un buen baño reformado i todo lo necesario. En el restaurante y el bar todo inmejorable, la comida, el buen café y sobre todo el personal que es muy amable y comprensivo. Repetiría sin ninguna duda!
we use this restaurant regularly , for menu of the day food is always excellent and very good portions , staff are friendly and attentive , and we can take our small dog into part of the covered terrace , well worth a visit and plenty parking opposite , we find it best to visit after 14.00 as it is also a favourite with the local workers ,
