My friend and I stopped by this wonderful establishment to celebrate a big win for her and decided to go with appetizers and drinks! We were not disappointed at all with the food selection or the drinks we had! There are vegetarian options which all of the appetizers we did get were vegetarian friendly! The service was phenomenal also. Our server was attentive. Definitely a great place to stop in and grab a quick bite or have dinner! The restaurant is also beautifully decorated!
Aldo's Ristorante is a hidden gem in Connecticut.The food was absolutely FABULOUS! Every meal was a generous portion of hot, full of flavor, deliciousness. My family(6 of us) enjoyed the French Onion soup, Gnocchi Bolenesse, Seafood Risotto, Cod Florentine Burratta Ravioli w/Vodka Sauce. What an AMAZING CHEF! You also had a choice of soup or salad w/each meal which very few restaurants offer anymore. This is a must try that won't disappoint.
Friday nights I understand are a busy night for restaurants, but it took over an hour to get our food and when it finally came out, it was the wrong order. Waiter claims he asked if everything was okay, but he walked by us mumbling so fast, without stopping, before we could even process what was said to us. Asked for new forks twice, they were never brought to us. Still got charged for the meals we didn’t even get to eat. Very Disappointed

They do a great job here ! Restaurant was completely full but service was excellent and all our dishes were delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return soon . I had the chicken also which was extremely tasty and my mother had the best raviolis she said that she ever had . We were a party of 5 and everyone raved about their food.
Food was cold, rolls were burnt. Something they called Beef Wellington Tips were unrecognizable let alone overcooked. Scallops wrapped in bacon look like they came out of a box from Costco, Mine were tough to chew. Started outside dining however I guess there was a need to repair tables so moved inside.
Great place for take out or a late night drink food is generally delicious new owner seems to have a better chef than the last one

It's good. Food, wait staff, atmosphere all good. The bartender, Dana, was exceptional and friendly and deserved the mention.
