The concept sounded great. An Italian restaurant focusing on good but simple dishes without pizzas. Service was nice, but, unfortunately, the implementation did not work out well. The green salad was cheap but uninspired. The dressing looked like it was ready-made. I would have preferred just oil and vinegar. The pumpkin risotto was ok but definitely not worth CHF 33. The daily special, a lemon and mint risotto, sounded great but was extremely bitter. Did not taste like lemon nor like mint. An overpriced Chinese restaurant was replaced with a pseudo simple Italian restaurant. What a shame. We will not be going back there.

New as Iranian with cuisine from Persia in Baden: courageous, modest and very committed. We liked it. We'll come back and try out other dishes to get to know the variety. A special conclusion was the ice cream with saffron and pistachios! And somehow mineral water from Mels found its way here, which is also a discovery. We look forward to your next visit!!

Been to the restaurant last week with my friends, I have to say I've been really surprised. Found a great Italian restaurant in Baden, which for someone who lives in London I am a bit skeptic. Big shout out to the dessert, we took the Tiramisu which it has been recommended and loved so much, I could taste the real Italian essence. Great staff too!

I love going to Grosser Alexander. They always have amazing ingredients, an interesting menu for an Italian restaurant, and great service. And now that is it summer, they have one of the few places in town with a nice outside seating area. Keep up the great work!
