We want to thank Afortunata and Jaseem (sp) for an absolutely great experience ! We were in Baden for a marathon. Afterwards we wanted to enjoy a great meal and celebrate the race victory. Unfortunately most restaurants in Baden were closed and we happened upon La Cittadella. Jaseem made a great wine recommendation and started us out with a fabulous antipasti plate, which could have been a meal of its own. We had a few pasta plates as well as pizza and soon It became family style dinner we all shared our dishes. Great atmosphere, great food and overall best meal we had while we were in Switzerland!
Das Mittagessen hat mich enttäuscht. Die Spagetti mit Knoblauch und Basilikum war ziemlicher durchschnit und war kaum gewürzt. Ich musste ziemlich nachwürzen. Das Olivenöl hätte auch besser sein können. Der Salat war ok. Das Brot zum Salat war ausgezeichnet. Bei meinem Kollegen waren die Ravioli nicht durch. Alles in allem ist das für mich kein Restaurant um gute Spaghetti zu essen. Könnte ich selber besser. Das Restaurant hat eine schöne Einrichtung. Der Preis für das Mittagessen war gut.
1.6.2016 Mittagessen mit einer guten Freundin.Lokal in der Fussgängerzone. Gut erreichbar.Nett eingerichtet. Lärmpegel steigt an, sobald sich das Lokal füllt.Die Verständigung wird schwieriger.Bedienung ok.Wir entscheiden uns für das Menü. Der Salat kommt mit einer Industriesauce...Pizza: Dicker Boden....Teller nicht vorgewärmt....Ein 3dl Primitiv: CHF 19.50Preis / Leistung stimmt für mich nicht.
Obwohl super gelegen und den Gegebenheiten entsprechend nett eingerichtet, war ich von der Qualität der Speisen nicht vollends überzeugt. Mit einem Freund war ich hier zum Abendessen, doch weder seine noch meine Pasta konnten überzeugen. Schade - das Lokal hätte aufgrund seiner Grösse grosses Geheimtipp-Potential. Doch wenn die Küche nicht stimmt...

Stopped in spontaneously and got a free table despite being busy. Were served promptly and nicely. The pizzas were very good and the wine too. Happy to come back!

Essan was good, but service was rather poor for the price. Had to wait over half an hour for the bill!
