"Four of us had lunch at Dory Du in Baden, Switzerland. Fine menu, good service, excellent tables outside. Two of us had the glass noodle bowl and two of us had the chicken wrap; both excellent. Menu was not too expansive but still adequate for a good lunch."

We decided to to try out this restaurant as we always do. Facts: Food and choices are quite good in taste for Gourmet Lovers. Portion: it is relatively small and not suggested to do sharing for Appetizers unless it is 3 selections combined. Main dishes are also very small portion. Service: Good and attentive wait staff; just 2 times we are brought drinks that we didn't ordered and the staff was perhaps new as he does not orientation of the table lay out yet. Price: it's very expensive versus the portion. It's way far too expensive than a 4 star Hotel Restaurant. I had Risotto for 32 Chf and that portion I got is way too small for the price compare to Zürich. My husband got the Asian Bowl for...

The restaurant is located alongside the Limmat river within the beautiful thermal area of the city of Baden. The menu proposed is actually very interesting, but not for everybody. Kids could have some difficulties to find something they could enjoy. Dory und Du offers a very interesting culinary experience to those who are willing to taste something different. It 's a very nice place, where, on a sunny summer day to stop by for an apero as they propose also a small but quite nice selection of cocktails and drinks. Wine list should be increased, from my point of view. As everything in Switzerland is pricey.

Stayed at the fabulous River Residence on our way back to Munich and had dinner downstairs in their restaurant separately run by Tobi and his Team. Well the menu was very creative the quality of the food outstanding and the chef shows that he loves his job and has tons of international experience. Not what we expected in this little town but it blew us away. It’s a must of you stay in Baden! Not for those who wish to have a schnitzel and French fries!! But for those who appreciate creative quality food! Thanks to you all your a great team. Philip/Sabine/Emilee&Benjamin

Food is okay but it is such a headache that they only have a few choices as main courses. And apparently the young guys/girls there do not understand how to build and deepen custom relationship. Thumb down and will never visit again. For anybody interested, drive a little further from Baden please. Based on the Michelin guide, you can find much better food and service just a file kilometers away.
