I initially visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and ordered the smothered chicken, dirty rice, and green beans. Everything was delicious, but I particularly loved the green beans! I went back on Sunday and tried a large order of red beans and rice, which was fantastic! The red beans were authentic, not the oversized kidney beans, and they were perfectly seasoned, just as they should be. This place has become my new favorite spot for takeout.
Wow! This place is amazing. It's just takeout, nothing too fancy, but the food is freshly made on-site and seasoned perfectly. We tried the Savory Steak Hoagie and the Italian Beef and Sausage Combo, and both were delicious. The collard greens were spot on—not greasy, just really flavorful. I'm a big fan! Some may criticize, but don’t let a mask deter you from visiting—missing out would be a mistake. This place truly lives up to the hype!

The Gouda Mac and Cheese is undoubtedly the best mac and cheese I've ever tasted! The lemonade comes in four huge and delicious flavors! The Fried Chicken Sandwich is enormous and utterly mouth-watering! The Yaya Crab Fries are simply incredible! We also enjoyed the Mini Jerk Shrimp Hoagie and waffle fries. We've never been disappointed! Thank you for the amazing soul food!
I had an amazing dining experience! The food was outstanding—honestly, the best pork chop I've ever tasted. The white tail was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the greens were delicious, and the rice complemented the meal wonderfully. The owner was incredibly friendly and even treated us to a generous slice of delicious homemade carrot cake. I will definitely be returning!
The Mac and Smoked Brisket Bowl was absolutely delicious. The cornbread was not only perfect but also served in a generous portion. The flavor and sweetness of the peach sweet tea were just right! This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I will definitely be placing another order in the future.
