Like many places on the Gold Coast, signs spruiking a deal don't come to the party at crunch time. There are so many caveats when you finally sit down/ join the queue / book a seat etc... At Regale, the sign said - "kids eat free".. with every adult meal (fair) and from the kids menu (also fair), but after ordering a drink and choosing our meals we were told that only two options from 6 on the kids menu were actually free............? The prices were more than one would normally be happy to pay.. but my excellent eaters did not want nuggets or pizza! The meal was ok. We were staying at the Crown Towers and thought we would eat here one night. This place was very disappointing. I wouldn't even bother going to eat here with so many places to eat. It really is a shame that the food and service isn't better. If the management got their act together and had a good restaurant in the Crown, they could do very well. The food wasn't that fresh, the service wasn't that flash, the servings were not that great and the prices were certainly not worth it. Don't bother - better places to eat than here.
We had to wait ONE AND A HALF HOURS for our meal. It was later explained to us that they were short staffed and the cook was doing his best. We were not told this when we placed our order. Got a couple of 'sorry's from the staff but thats about all. When the meals arrived they were both VERY ORDINARY. Will NEVER go back to this eatery.

Monday night dinner, fantastic. Great food, great service, great price. The setting on the ground floor of the Crown Towers is absolutely fabulous. We look forward to dining there again in summer when it is warmer and we can enjoy the outdoor experience. Well done. We'll be back !!
Good was nice, not amazing, but decent value and quick, friendly service. Garlic pizza bread was yummy. Children's service was free with paying adult - but was very small meal for kids. Thanks for a nice easy meal option
I would've gone for the 3 star option, but folks have raved about how good the burger here is and quite honestly, it's just a burger chain that doesn't want
I can recommend the smashed avo with eggs, feta and tomato - delicious. Sad that this was the highlight of my stay at Crown Towers.......

I had the classic cheese burger and though it was the 'classic' with not too many ingredients, the burger was amazing.
