We're currently on our annual ski holiday and this time decided to visit the Alpine Tavern as it was located opposite our chalet. The food was OUTSTANDING; service incredible, and all of the staff are extremely friendly. We had a mixture of dietary requirements within our group and nothing (and I mean nothing) was an issue. Extremely accommodating to no end; they even created my very own little dessert as I wasn't too keen on eating a full one. Whilst on our skiing holiday this month we went for a meal at this restaurant and had a fantastic time. It is quite small so worth booking to make sure you have a table, although in better weather you can also eat outside. There were six of us and the restaurant was full with one young waiter who did a brilliant job. We were served very quickly and the food was great. We all ordered something different, the fondues were delicious as were the burgers. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Le Gets.
It's early season so quiet in Lea Gets. This restaurant offers seating inside and out. The terrace area is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Staff were really friendly and there was a good selection of food on the menu. The burgers were really good; cooked perfectly. Portions were generous and pricing similar to other places (€15 or thereabouts for a main). Would definitely come again knowing that I was going to get a great meal.
This is our second time in this restaurant. As per our first time the food was excellent, service was quick and waiter was friendly and efficient. Our order consisted of 2 different burgers, Salad Exotica and Steak Haché & Frites off the Menu Enfant. Everything was perfect and we were all happy. We also had a crepe each for dessert. We would recommend and definitely visit again!

I visited the Alpine Tavern with a group of 9 friends. Service was prompt polite, efficient and all the food arrived at the same time. Every meal was excellent, as was the waitresses English when our schoolboy French ran our. I would certainly go to this restaurant again and suggest it to friends.
Walked in to a near empty restaurant.Two families in with young children.We were a group of 8 with 4 children just hitting their teens.Entered quietly to be greeted by scowls from the locals.Temperature outside minus 8, a lot colder inside.Waiter didn't look best pleased to see us so we left!
Not the 1st time I've eaten there, and it won't be the last!My gf (who is a veggie) asked for a dish without the charcuterie so they replaced with a tomato mozzarella salad! Spot on!!Great food, great service.. Can't recommend enough! (Also do a English fry up for those who are interested)
Really fabulous little restaurant with attentive friendly staff. The power went out just after we arrived but the chef still managed to provide fantastic burgers and a stunning Fondue Bourguignonne. Decently priced lovely local wines. Highly recommended.

This has to be the worst restaurant in Les Gets. Having been eating regularly in restaurants in Les Gets for the last 14 years this was bad. The steak was inedible The fish was a joke Just awful all round
