I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but there were several issues. Our two Italian margaritas were inconsistent—one was very sweet, and the other very sour. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she just shrugged it off. We chose from the special Valentine's Day menu, which included two appetizers, two salads, two entrees, and one dessert; it turned out to be a mistake! The waitress brought out the salads first and claimed she wasn’t sure what the kitchen was doing. Then she immediately brought the appetizers while we were still trying to finish the salads. The food is excellent, but the kitchen is consistently slow. Every time I dine here, the waitress offers excuses for the long wait for the main courses, often apologizing multiple times. To make matters worse, they have implemented a new policy that charges $20 for bringing in a cake. They waived the fee this time, but if they continue to enforce this charge, I will have to look for another venue for special occasions. This is a very poorly thought-out idea that will frustrate budget-conscious customers like me.
The food at this restaurant is always excellent. Although the pizza isn't my favorite, the half-price pizza special on Mondays makes it much more tempting. They also serve delicious pasta and outstanding ribs. I haven't eaten here in a while, but I've heard they revamped the place and that it's very clean now. They still have the lunch bar where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat options. This is definitely a place worth checking out!
The wings and drinks at this restaurant are excellent. The ambiance is inviting and cozy, even if it appears a bit old-fashioned. Lately, it hasn't been too busy, which makes it a great choice if you're seeking a peaceful and laid-back dining experience. It's suitable for both business meetings and family gatherings. I had a disappointing experience at the Easter Brunch. The food was lukewarm to cold, and my prime rib was tough and chewy. The only enjoyable dishes were the baked clams and eggs Benedict. Al's holiday brunches used to be fantastic, but this time it fell short. On a positive note, our server Angela was very friendly and accommodating.
We love to go out. Yesterday we visited this magnificent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a delightful evening there with high-qulity food and an efficient team and a great chef. We added this venue in our phone list and we will surely visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

This establishment truly captures the essence of a traditional Chicago experience. The salad bar was exceptional. You definitely won't find any fast food here!
