2 years ago we were already there and enthusiastic about the interieur. Unfortunately, as at the time in this year our reservation (before 6 weeks by phone) had disappeared from the reservation book. sometimes there are such coincidences. for this you have tried and found a warmed place in the garden. the food has been compensated for most, the bark rooster was great and as with nuts, the child eats super, only the sheep has tasted too much after schaf. weeping card very good. the old friesenstube was at a distance one of the best restaurants that I and my family have tried during our trip to sylt. we were welcomed very kindly in a dreamlike beautiful traditional house. the food was more than delicious and the atmosphere was so hygienic produktes we were eating two times during our stay and it was always found a table for us, even if we had not booked in advance. Thanks old frying room for so nice evenings! we can hardly wait to visit sylt again and to dine in their beautiful restaurant.
again a very successful evening with an excellent kitchen and service. the reception was very friendly and unobtrusive throughout the evening. the served diners were qualitatiw and professionally excellent, the Frisian ambiente again and again a hingucker. the bill is appropriate for 4 people, although not a bargain. sylt stop - but too much a top address in westerland!

in the case of large demand and in the two-shift operation (17.30 or 20.30 o'clock), the supply to the gast on the line remains. the service is professional but cool, eating is partly good, partly acceptable, the prices high and not justified for the performance. we had the impression, this is about maximum throughput.
a visit is definitely worth the old friesenstube. the food is super prepared and tastefully an absolute tasty. whether fish whether meat or salat all top. friendly staff in a pleasant atmosphere. a good evening.
a beautiful restaurant in the oldest Frisian house on the island. the outside area also invites you to stay and is equipped with heat radiators.The service is good and the food is also.
a real friesenstube and a lot of Frisian food. good but small wine selection and the berry soup as dessert is a must. you even get a little sneak because you don't get berries anymore.
