We remember: in 2002 the Landesgartenschau Baden-Württemberg and Scharnhauser Park were known. Those who haven't been on the spot for a long time (as I am) will not be surprised by a new visit: the former generous free space is now also heavily cultivated as an ecological model settlement. Scharnhauser Park has been known as the Ostfildern district since 2006. At the lower end of the long-drawn landscape terrace, the “Alte Garde” is located in a historically graceful building with a striking Waldach. The area was probably one of the local barracks (now: Nellingen Baracks . Recently I was a guest at a business lunchtime. You can arrive very pleasantly with the U7 or U8 road to the Kreuzbrunne...
We were there to eat and drink restaurant completely empty, staff very inattentive and not just friendly. The rag steak with salad was delicate and tasty, the risotto included bitter leaves and did not meet my taste (I am not picky as regards food). The lemonade was pretty upset. As far as prices are concerned, I find the food really overpriced...The ambience was as always wonderful!
Location is very nice and quiet.The dishes are relatively high price compared to the quality and quantity.Käsespätzle was good, but the salad was no longer fresh and good. The carving is relatively expensive and not particularly. We have to wait a relatively long time for the food.The service is friendly. A bit of flexibility when sitting outdoors would be desirable.
Location and service are good, the food (worst salad with roast potatoes) was unfortunately fad and therefore only on average, at a price of almost 17 €!The yeast wheat from the barrel unfortunately tasted abruptly and stood out as if the barrel had tilted, which I can hardly imagine in the summer with normal flow rates.

The food is really tasty, but the portions are maximum child portions (cheese pepper). We have reported this back and there was unfortunately nothing but reparation except a grim look. Unfortunately, this is very disappointing when you pay 15 euro for cheese parrots, and not getting almost full of them.
The food was very good. In the beginning we were quickly served. However, we had to wait for the second round of beverages for longer than a three-quarter hour, even for the subsequent bill required very long, again about a three-quarter hour. The visit to this restaurant was a bit cloudy.
