I went to the “Alten Steinhaus” with my girlfriend for her birthday and we ordered a grill plate for two. Unfortunately the portion was quite small for the price, the meat was cold and the chicken was even raw. An absolute no-go! We also sat extremely closely, almost on the laps of neighboring tables, which made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. As compensation we were offered something on the house, which was meant nicely but couldn't save the overall experience. The service was attentive and friendly, but unfortunately it was the first and last time for me in this restaurant. An absolutely disappointing experience.
Wir haben anlässlich eines Geburtstages einen Tisch reserviert. Leider war diese Reservierung für 9 Personen nicht eingetragen. Wir konnten sogar Anruf und Rückruf vorzeigen und wurden abgewiesen. Keine Entschuldigung. Wenn ein Fehler passiert, dann muss man diesen korrigieren. Die Überheblichkeit gipfelte darin, dass der Gast ja einen falschen Termin angegeben hat und nicht immer der Kellner schuld ist. Sowas gehört sich nicht und ist respektlos gegenüber dem Gast.
Samstagmittag war die Terrasse voll. Trotz vieler Gäste war der Service zuvorkommend freundlich. Das Essen war gut und geschmackvoll. Auch optisch ansprechend. Natürlich war in der Küche sehr viel los. Ich kann nur meine Bewunderung aussprechen, dass trotzdem alles funktioniert hat und ja, dass Thema Toiletten ist wirklich ein Thema und sollte wirklich mal in Angriff genommen werden. Trotzdem kommen wir gerne wieder.
Wir haben draußen gesessen und der außen Terrasse ist großzügig mit ausreichend Sonnenschirme ausgestattet! Die Terrasse liegt hinterm Haus! Wir haben einen Salat gegessen und der war lecker , Service war sehr freundlich ! Kann man gerne hingehen! Zu den sanitär anlagen kann ich nichts sagen( vorherige Bewertungen waren ja dahin sehr schlecht )ich musste die nicht aussuchen!

Delicious food in Ratingen We were there for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the good value for money. The fish dishes were fresh and succulent, and the steak was tender and had an excellent grilled flavor. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly friendly. We'd like to try the tapas on our next visit.
The service attitude is not good, it can even be said to be very bad. The first floor was full, and most people ate standing up, but the upstairs was still closed. The waiter ignored me
I had a vegetarian paella. It tasted amazing and I can recommend it to everyone. The ambiance is wonderful, and the service was excellent, too.
We were there at lunchtime and ate from the lunch menu. Was very tasty. The service was also good. Gladly again
