I 've been to Altruda 's numerous times over the years, and it was always enjoyable. The food and ambience kept us coming back to support a local business. It was where we went to celebrate anniversaries, new jobs, our first home, etc. We recommended it to friends and family. The past two or three times, however, have been so far removed from what it used to be that I 'm saddened. I wish I were exaggerating when I said that the sauce in my lasagna tasted so strongly of canned Chef Boyardee that I couldn 't finish it. The ground meat in it was flavorless and mush-like, the cheese also was flavorless. The rolls were so hard and stale that we had to soak them in the garlic butter to make them e...
Wait, staff outstanding. Food always served hot even with a large group. Quality and quantity for the price. Garlic rolls hot, moist, and delicious. Salad perfect temp. Food cooked to perfection with delicious sauces.
I came here for my birthday dinner and it was delightful! Our server, Jonathan, was fantastic : Super attentive, kind, and he made the entire experience 10x better! It was a great night ?
