We waited for half an hour after our reserved time. Service was poor and food was mediocre. We usually go to the Chop House on Broadway, where food and service are superior to the restaurant out west. Over an hour after our reservation, we still did not have our salads. They brought a couple of salads, in 5-10 minutes remaining salads were served. I had to request my cold soup since it was forgotten.
The Chop House was very nice and clean. We had to ask for bread after about 20 minutes. Beer nor a Margarita wasn’t even listed on the drink menu. I don’t know if our waitress was new, but she was very nice. Overall, it was a clean restaurant, but nothing to write home about.
Food and service are always great. It was my wife's birthday and I asked for a booth on the reservation, when we got there, the only booth was in the bar/lounge area. It was fine but a little loud. I still think its the best steak house in Knoxville.

Surf and Turf outstanding. I had the lobster with my steak. The merlot wine added to the great time.
